Peppers Manor House Wedding Southern Highlands
Amy and Luke were married in January this year at Peppers Manor House Southern Highlands. The Southern Highlands is well known for it’s colourful gardens, diverse landscape, history and heritage. It’s definitely a popular choice for Sydney couples wanting a destination wedding with a European feel.
I was lucky enough to do a pre wedding photoshoot with Amy and Luke as I believe it’s a great way for couples to feel what it’s like to be in front of the camera. Its never as bad as they imagine and we had a lot of fun.
I arrived at Peppers and the weather was perfect. I noticed a lot of renovations had been done since the last time I was here.
The new Estate Room venue seats up to 250 guests and has an indoor-outdoor area connected by glass bifold doors and features a large open fireplace and rustic bar.
My assistant and I met Luke and his best man and used the main lounge area for photos which has amazing light. We then headed upstairs to the bridal suite where Amy was finishing up with the very talented and high recommended makeup artist Jay Kruse.
I got a few photos of Amy’s Alfred Angelo wedding gown hanging up before it was time for her to get dressed.
Amy and Luke’s wedding was a beautiful intimate wedding and everything seemed to run so smoothly. I guess it has a lot to do with both Amy and Luke being very casual and accommodating which I loved.
The reception was held in the Estate room after a few canapes and pre reception drinks and then we ended our time with Amy and Luke with a few night shots.
I really enjoyed Amy and Luke’s wedding and loved revising the day as I edited their wedding images.
