Early Morning Europe

During December 2022, I travelled to Europe to photographic a series called ‘Earl Morning Europe’. The aim of the photographic series was to capture the colours, emptiness and early morning Winter aesthetic of European towns and cities. I knew before I left one of the main challenges I would encounter where the short Winter days and limited light to work with.

It was important to me to capture the cities in a quiet state, before people were active and going to work. Quieter towns like Dijon in France were easier to work in as there were less people while other cities were more challenging.
