Brisbane Photography Workshop | Off-Camera Lighting

My Brisbane Off Camera Lighting workshop held during Winter in Brisbane was a great success. Held at the Storey Bridge Hotel, we had a great location for the photoshoot.

Bringing off-camera lighting into your photography allows you to creates unique artistic images. Off camera lighting can be used in any type of photography including weddings, portraits, pet and family photography.

I conduct full day workshops to cover basic lighting setups indoors and outdoors, right through to post-production and the finished image ready for print.

Things learnt on the course will include off-camera lighting/theory, balancing flash with ambient light to create mood and drama, modifiers, and high-speed sync (HSS).

Martina from Backstage Beauty was on hand again to work her magic providing hair and makeup for the model Annaliese who was also very professional and amazing to work with. I provide all the lighting equipment and triggers for those attending and I also like to keep the group size small.

The first part of the workshop during the morning is some theory and then we photographed Annaliese during the afternoon demonstrating various lighting setups and modifiers. After photographing Annaliese along the Brisbane River, we headed back to the Storey Bridge Hotel where I demonstrated how I edit my images.

With my Brisbane Off Camera Lighting workshop, we use Lightroom and Photoshop for the editing and post-production and Profoto lighting equipment. My next workshop in Brisbane will be Thursday the 24th of October 2019. All workshops are listed here.
