Off Camera Lighting Workshop
Mondays off camera lighting & editing workshop was great even though there were storms approaching. We managed to get the photoshoot part of the workshop in and got some great photos.
The first part of the workshop is in the classroom where I talk about light, equipment, discuss my influences and what I look for when composing an image. After lunch we had the photoshoot with our amazing model Tayla to put everything into practice, and then finished with how I edit and post process my images from a RAW capture to a print ready image for clients.
Tayla was so great to work with and looked amazing with Yvette (Ethix Makeup beauty & Styling (Yvette) yet again on board to work her magic which I cannot thank her enough for.
This workshop is mainly aimed at people who are new to off camera flash but more experienced photographers can benefit as well.
The workshop was held at Milton Park again as I love this venue. The conference room/food and gardens provide a great environment for attendees with some travelling from Bundaberg and Melbourne.
I own some Profoto lighting equipment, though L&P Digital Photographic in Sydney hired me the rest so I have to give a shout out to these guys who are amazing. I buy all my lighting equipment from them and recently my Eizo monitor as well and find their support/service second to none.
I have decided to run these workshops every few months and will be doing some in Melbourne , Brisbane and Sydney in the future.
If anyone is interested in attending my workshops, more details can be found on my website here.
